Working for Proviso West High School in Illinois as a statistician for football in the early 1970’s sports statistics is I we got my start 39 years ago. With 20 years of experance as a timer for football & basketball, keeping the scorebook for baseball and working eight state final tournaments as a beach official during the late 80’s and early 90’s, when laptop computers hit the market my focus shifted from bench official to computer statistical work. After teaming up with STATCREW SOFTWARE in the early 1990’s, I went on to provide official statistics for over eight hundred high school and college athletic events in Illinois. In 1996 I became league statistician in football and basketball for three high school and one junior college conference. I have provided official game day statistics, tournament statistics and web cast for the prestigious Proviso West Christmas Basketball Tournament. In addition stats have been provided for state finals in football, basketball, soccer and baseball for the Illinois High School Association. I have also had the honor of providing game day statistics for Big Ten Football at University of Illinois in Champagin-Urbana.
