I began as a bench official in the early 1970’s as a timer for football, timer & scorer for basketball and official scorer for baseball. I have over thirty-six years experience working athletic events in high school sports, working eight state final tournaments as a beach official during the late 80’s and early 90’s. With the introduction of personal computers and then laptop computers in the late 80’s, my focus shifted from bench official to computer statistical work. After teaming up with STATCREW SOFTWARE in the mid 90’s, I went on to provide official statistics for over eight hundred high school and college athletic events in Illinois. In 1996 I became league statistician in football and basketball for three conferences. I have provided official game day statistics, tournament statistics and web cast for the prestigious Proviso West Christmas Basketball Tournament. In addition, state finals in football, basketball, soccer and baseball for the Illinois High School Association were provided. I have also had the honor of providing game day statistics for University of Illinois Football program.
